Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position at a leading pediatric hospital in Ohio, requiring recent Level 1 experience and a willingness to float to multiple units.

Details

• 13-week travel contract in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) at a major pediatric hospital in Ohio
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Floating required to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg units as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience highly preferred; first-time travelers considered with closer to 3 years of PICU experience
• Recent Level 1 experience required
• 2 supervisory references required, at least one of which must be from a supervisor or manager (charge nurse references not accepted)

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered with closer to 3 years of recent PICU experience
• Local candidates are not accepted for this RN position
• Candidates who have worked permanently at this facility must have a gap of at least 2 years before being eligible
• Floating to different units is a core expectation of this assignment and travelers must be fully prepared to comply
