American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center acute care hospital, with first-time travelers welcome and on-call requirements included.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital, 426 staffed beds, Level II Trauma Center, part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call is required, averaging 6–9 weekday call days per month distributed across a 4-week schedule (5:15 PM – 7:00 AM)
• One weekend call per 4-week period covering Saturday and Sunday together (5:15 PM Friday – 7:00 AM Monday)
• Charting via Epic
• Must be proficient with Philips equipment and fluoroscopy
• Scrubs provided

Requirements

• ARRT-R, ACLS, and BLS required
• State license required; pending license is accepted
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Must be able to scrub
• Proficiency with Philips equipment and fluoroscopy required
• Acute care hospital Cath Lab experience required

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted for this specialty
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• 1 professional reference is required for consideration
