American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week night shift contract in Cedar Rapids, IA, requiring ARRT certification and strong OR competency with GE OEC c-arm experience.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology department in Cedar Rapids, IA
• Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Weekend on-call rotation required
• Average of 100 patient scans per day across all techs
• Diagnostic equipment includes Philips Diagnostic and Carestream
• OR equipment includes Hologic breast machine, Philips portable, Siemens Cysto, and GE OEC c-arms
• Fluoroscopy equipment: Toshiba
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification required
• Active AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Iowa Radiology License/IDPH State Permit highly preferred; license required if applicable — candidates without an active license must apply upon acceptance
• Minimum of 24 months of X-Ray experience in a clinic or hospital setting
• Strong OR competency and experience required
• GE OEC c-arm experience required
• Philips equipment experience highly preferred
• Siemens Cysto experience highly preferred
• Carestream portable experience preferred
• Fluoroscopy experience preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have at least 24 months of X-Ray experience
• Candidates who have been employed at this facility as an FTE or PRN within the past 12 months are not eligible for this position
• Contractors are expected to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a reduced pay rate
