Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and availability for on-call shifts.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital cardiac catheterization lab
• 4x10-hour day shifts per week
• On-call is required, averaging 8–9 days per month — approximately 1–2 weekdays per week and 1 weekend per month
• Travelers are first to float and may be required to float to sister campuses, all located within 15–20 minutes of each other

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required
• Current BLS required
• RCIS certification required; license required if applicable
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate into the unit culture — flexibility and being a team player are highly valued
• Orientation begins on a Friday; candidates must be available on-site for badge/ID setup and should be prepared to secure full-time local housing
