American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with C-section experience for a 13-week OB Tech assignment in an acute care hospital OR setting in Washington state.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital OB unit with 14 LDRP suites
• Typical caseload of 1–3 cases per day, including C-sections and vaginal deliveries
• Common cases include C-sections, sterile technique in OR suites, and assisting with vaginal deliveries
• Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down vaginal delivery tables, stocking LDRP and OR supplies, daily unit checks, and availability for emergencies
• 12-hour night shifts with potential flex to days, every other weekend (EOW), no call required
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience
• C-section experience required
• BLS certification from the AHA required — pending certifications are not accepted
• Active WA state license required at time of consideration — pending licenses will not be accepted (license required if applicable)
• A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Assist with and attend vaginal deliveries, including table setup and post-delivery breakdown
• Support clerical activities such as answering phones and doors as needed
• Department provides scrubs
• Orientation consists of 2 full days (24 hours)
• Candidates may not have been directly employed full-time, part-time, or PRN by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
