Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR Tech for a 13-week contract at an acute care Level II Trauma hospital, with day shifts and on-call requirements including STEMI response.

Details

• Works in a Cath Lab/IR setting at a 360-bed acute care Level II Trauma hospital
• Caseload of 8–12 cases per shift
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call is required, averaging approximately 7–10 days per month
• STEMI Call team members must be able to respond within 30 minutes of activation
• One full weekend of call required per month
• No floating between units required
• Charting is performed in Cerner and McKesson

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS required
• ARRT certification required, or RCIS with IR experience
• Maryland license required if applicable
• RCIS candidates must have IR experience to be considered
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• This facility has a strict no-tobacco policy and tests for nicotine and cotinine — candidates who use any form of nicotine (cigarettes, vapes, patches, gum, etc.) are not eligible for this position
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Parking is available at no cost to staff using the Patient Visitor Parking Garage
