Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with BLS and ARRT-T certifications and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Eureka, CA.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 150 staffed beds
• Radiation Therapist unit within a Radiology/Cardiology department
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Floating between facilities within the state is expected and required
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Free parking provided on the first day; assignment parking details provided during orientation

Requirements

• Active Radiation Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS and ARRT-T certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Epic EMR experience required
• Willingness and ability to float between facilities within the state

Additional Information

• Open to first-time travelers
• Local candidates are accepted
• Black scrubs required
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting are required for consideration
