American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 3 years of experience and ARDMS certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Nashua, NH.

Details

• Hospital-based cardiac sonography position
• Performs a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures under physician direction, with results interpreted by a cardiologist or radiologist
• Day shift schedule
• Defined workweek runs Sunday at 12:01 AM through the following Saturday at 11:59 PM
• On-call rotation of approximately 1 week every 5th or 6th week
• One hospital holiday per year required, rotating annually
• On-call and holiday shifts may be swapped with other Echo Techs with supervisor approval

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
• ARDMS (AB) certification required
• BLS required
• Active NH state license required if applicable
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach as required by the role

Additional Information

• Assists cardiologists and physicians during invasive ultrasound procedures
• Responsible for documentation of patient exams and ensuring accurate exam charges
• Maintains medical supplies and prepares/cleans patient exam rooms
• Communicates professionally with patients, families, visitors, staff, and physicians
