American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Oncology RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract at an acute care facility in Indiana, with a 1:5-6 patient ratio and weekend shift requirements.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting on a combined Medical Oncology and Medical Surgical unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
• General medical/surgical oncology patient population
• 12-hour night shifts, 3x per week (3x12 nights)
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule required; night shift weekends fall on Friday/Saturday with 1 Sunday shift required per schedule
• Floating required within scope, including to an 8-bed prison unit on the same campus
• Allscripts EMR in use

Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Med/Surg experience required; oncology experience a plus
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates within 50–100 miles may be considered as local at a reduced rate
