Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Radiation Oncology with at least 2 years of experience and active Colorado licensure for a 13-week travel contract at a leading cancer treatment facility in the Rockies.

Details

• Outpatient Radiation Oncology / Cancer Center setting
• Oncology patient population with complex and varied cancer diagnoses, including chronic illness and comorbidity management
• Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per weekday (4x10s)
• No weekend shifts required

Requirements

• Active Colorado RN license in good standing (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Oncology nursing experience
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of hematology/oncology, immunology, pharmacology, and evidence-based oncology practices
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions accepted
• DOB or SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Coordinate oncology patient care with interdisciplinary staff across a nationally accredited cancer treatment center
• Facility utilizes advanced technologies including tumor-genetic profiling and a wide range of radiation and therapeutic treatments
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
