American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine with a minimum of 2 years of MFM ultrasound experience and ARDMS certification.

Details

• Outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) clinic setting serving ambulatory and hospitalized patients
• Performs routine and complex OB/GYN sonographic imaging procedures specific to MFM under the supervision of an MFM Specialist Physician and Radiologist
• Patient population includes newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients
• 4x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Call may be required based on departmental needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• ARDMS certification required; ARDMS OB/GYN (OB/FE) or RDCS (FE) also acceptable
• Active TX license required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Performs high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with exam protocols, including invasive multimodality procedures using proper sterile technique
• Responsible for patient positioning, equipment setup, and adjusting exposure controls
• Maintains medical imaging records and documentation including patient history, requisitions, consent forms, and shielding precautions
• May serve as a preceptor for new team members
• Black scrubs required
