American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care (Step-Down/IMC) night shift position in Evansville, IN, serving as the facility's dedicated Stroke Unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Details

• Stepdown Intermediate Care unit serving as the dedicated Stroke Unit
• 30-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Patient population includes medical, cardiac, GI, renal, DKA, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases
• Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact state currently in hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications required — both must be AHA-issued
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Full Social Security Number and a valid US home address required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• No minimum years of experience specified

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius (miles vary by state) may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
