American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with recent Neuro and Thoracic experience for a 13-week contract at a high-volume hospital surgical unit in Atlanta, GA.

Details

• Main surgical unit at a large hospital campus, operating 24/7 with a daily case volume of 28–55 cases
• Service lines include Orthopedics, Neurology, Urology, General Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery
• Unit is equipped with 3 Da Vinci XI robotic systems used across general, urology, and thoracic service lines
• Cerner EMR is used in this unit
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, rotating between 6:45a–7:15p and 10:45a–7:15p shifts
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience within the specialty
• Recent Neuro and Thoracic surgical experience is required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Driver's License required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Scrub into a wide variety of surgical cases across orthopedic, neuro, urology, general, and thoracic service lines
• Assist with robotic-assisted procedures using the Da Vinci XI platform
• Any time off (RTO) must be requested prior to or at the time of offer — requests will not be accepted after offer
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break from the facility before being eligible
• AHA certifications must be current and unexpired at time of consideration
