Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital cardiology services unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent echocardiography experience and active RDCS or CCI certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiology Services department performing echocardiography
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (schedule may vary)
• No on-call required
• Cerner EMR in use

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in echocardiography
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program; registered or registry eligible
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, RDCS (or equivalent CCI credential)
• Cerner experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Driver's License required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered, but candidates should be available to start within a short lead time
