American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a physician office setting, performing chest X-rays and assisting with pain management procedures in a pulmonology and critical care clinic.

Details

• Outpatient physician office setting within a pulmonology and critical care associates clinic
• Primary procedure is chest X-ray, with up to 25 chest X-rays performed per day
• Also assists with pain management procedures using C-arm/fluoroscopy equipment
• Images are verified in PACS prior to forwarding to radiologists for interpretation
• Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Verify patient identification using two identifiers and confirm correct procedure against the order prior to imaging
• Select appropriate technical factors based on body habitus, pathology, and body part, and ensure proper patient positioning throughout each procedure
• Demonstrate knowledge of C-arm and fluoroscopy equipment when assisting with pain management procedures
• Ensure all acquired images are successfully transmitted to PACS and meet quality standards before routing to radiologists
