American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with active CVOR experience for a hospital CVORT position in Largo, FL, requiring candidates to reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Details

• Hospital-based CVOR unit with a variable call schedule
• Shift hours are 5:30 AM–6:00 PM with a variable call schedule
• 286-bed acute care hospital

Requirements

• CST/ORT certification required; state licensure required if applicable
• Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in a CVOR surgical technologist role
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Surgical staff wear Ciel Blue scrubs
• The HCA FL Largo West campus is a psych/rehab department and functions as a float unit
