American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with Level I Trauma and Neurosurgery experience for a hospital OR position in Ohio.

Details

• Hospital OR setting at an academic medical center
• Variable shift position with nights available in 8-, 10-, or 12-hour increments
• Weekday call required Monday through Friday, 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Weekend shifts are 12 hours, 7:00 PM – 6:30 AM, with call requirements
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
• Patient population includes neurosurgery, spine, complex ortho/ortho spine, and complex general surgery including bariatric cases
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of OR Surgical Technologist experience required
• Level I Trauma and neurosurgery experience required
• Experience in spine, complex orthopedic/ortho spine, and complex general/bariatric surgery required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• BLS (BCLS) certification required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is preferred for this position
• Experience in ENT, GU, plastics, or burns is preferred
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility are not required to take a 30-day break between assignments before changing representation (except Sterile Processing Technicians, who still require the 30-day break)
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
