American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a pediatric Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 1 year of experience with Epic EMR and GE equipment in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Details

• Pediatric short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center with 167 staffed beds
• MRI department serving a pediatric inpatient and outpatient population
• Daily caseload of approximately 15 patients
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with a rotating day off each week
• Nights, weekends, and holidays are covered by call
• On-call required: 1–2 nights per week and every 4th or 5th weekend depending on staffing
• Travelers may be required to participate in weekend call rotation and holiday rotation
• No floating within the facility or to sister facilities required
• Epic EMR used; experience is required
• GE MRI equipment used; experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
• Contrast administration experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT certification strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• GE MRI equipment experience strongly preferred
• Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
