Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with Level I trauma experience and BLS/ARRT(MRI) or ARMRIT(MRI) certification for a 13-week night shift contract at an academic medical center.

Details

• Level I Trauma academic medical center setting
• MRI unit serving adult ICU, pediatric, and adult acute care patient populations
• 4x10 hour night shifts from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
• Holiday coverage is required for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
• On-call availability is required
• Cerner charting system (preferred, not required)
• Siemens and McKesson equipment experience utilized in this role

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year of MRI-specific experience
• Level I trauma experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers considered with 2+ years of Level I trauma experience
• Experience with adult ICU, pediatric, and adult acute care patient populations
• Proficiency with Siemens and McKesson systems
• Current BLS and ARRT(MRI) or ARMRIT(MRI) certification required
• MO or Compact license required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and remain active throughout the shift
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced rate

Additional Information

• Perform MRI imaging for a diverse patient population including adult ICU and pediatric cases in a Level I trauma environment
• Rotating shifts and availability during inclement weather may be required
• Any requested time off must be disclosed prior to consideration or it will not be approved
• Cerner charting experience is preferred but not required
