Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring perianesthesia experience across pre-op, Phase 2, and PACU, with telemetry training and PALS certification.

Details

• Works in a PACU/perianesthesia setting, covering pre-op, Phase 2, and PACU areas
• Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 24 hours per week
• Floating required as needed within the perianesthesia department
• Weekends and holidays required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Telemetry training required, including the ability to read cardiac telemetry strips
• Experience in pre-op, Phase 2, and PACU required
• 3–5 years of perianesthesia experience preferred
• Strong IV skills and experience titrating pressors required
• COVID-19 vaccination or an approved religious/medical exemption required

Additional Information

• Provides perianesthesia nursing care across pre-op, Phase 2, and PACU settings for a diverse patient population
• RTO requests must be 7 days or less for the duration of the contract
• Candidates available to start within 3 weeks will be prioritized for consideration
