Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Tech / Rad Tech (Multimodality) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week assignment at a free-standing emergency department in Murrells Inlet, SC, working Saturday through Monday day shifts.

Details

• Free-standing emergency department setting with CT and diagnostic radiology services (no outpatient or inpatient imaging)
• 1 CT/Rad Tech per shift with an average of 10–20 CT and radiology exams per shift
• Performs routine CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures in a small free-standing ED environment
• Equipment includes GE 64-Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, and GE portable X-ray
• Documents using Meditech EMR
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday through Monday
• 2 call shifts required per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT/Rad Tech experience, with active experience in the role within the last 6 months
• ARRT certification required
• SC Rad Tech license (SCQRSA) required — license required if applicable
• CT certification preferred; CT experience and knowledge required
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Must be proficient in both CT and diagnostic radiology
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no exceptions
• 1 professional reference required (2 required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted
