American Traveler is hiring a travel X-Ray Technician with at least 18 months of experience for a night shift contract at a large acute care hospital in Morristown, NJ.

Details

• Large 900-bed acute care hospital radiology department
• Experience with OR-based imaging is required
• GE imaging equipment is used
• Epic is the EMR system used for charting
• Night shift schedule: 3x13-hour shifts per week from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• On-call is required for this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school
• Active NJ State RT License required if applicable
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with GE imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently in a large hospital setting
• Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Responsible for equipment setup, maintenance, safety assessment, and troubleshooting
• Monitor patients' physical and physiological comfort throughout procedures and coordinate daily imaging workflow
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a break of 30–60 days is required before returning to a new assignment
