American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting, requiring ARRT(M) certification and at least 1 year of radiologic/mammography experience.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting in a dedicated Mammography unit
• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 26-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist
• CA Medical Radiographer (MRAD:CA) license required; license required if applicable
• Active BLS (AHA) and ARRT(M) certifications required; pending certifications are not accepted
• Completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent program required
• Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Proficiency with medical terminology, PACS, and electronic practice management systems required
• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, radiology diagnostic equipment operation, and radiation safety
• 6 months of outpatient environment experience preferred
• ARRT(RTR) preferred
• A driver's license is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
