American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience for a high-acuity OR position at an inner-city trauma center.

Details

• Hospital OR setting at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases
• 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 3 shifts per week
• Weekend coverage required, with travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Holiday coverage is required
• Call shifts are required
• Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

• Prior travel experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required, specifically in high-volume, high-acuity environments
• Proven ability to manage critical, fast-paced surgical situations with complex and severe cases
• Experience in large-scale trauma environments; candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Burn surgery experience preferred
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
• Active license required if applicable
