Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure for a travel contract in a mammography department.

Details

• Mammography department within an acute care health system
• Performs routine and specialized breast imaging procedures
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation required
• Weekday shift starts vary between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM; weekend shift starts between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• CA CRT required
• CA license required if applicable
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality diagnostic images for physicians and other healthcare providers
• Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe, precise procedures and deliver accurate results in a timely manner
• Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• May orient other staff to the department as needed
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved
