Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT experience for a 13-week acute care assignment performing routine and advanced CT imaging studies.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography) department
• Department has 2 CT scanners
• Routine studies include head, chest, abd/pelv, CTA head, CTA chest, calcium score, and more
• Average of 30–40 scans per day
• IV insertion is required
• GE CT equipment in use; PACS system is Synapse; EMR is Epic Radiant
• 12-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• No call or on-call requirement
• No floating to other departments required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• Active BLS certification (AHA)
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required; pending certifications are not accepted
• Active state or compact (NLC) licensure for the state of assignment required; pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• In-house orientation is provided; candidates must be in-state for the orientation week even if initial modules are remote
• Radiologist is on-site during shifts
• Travelers are responsible for providing their own radiation dosimetry badge — the facility does not supply one
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
• Travelers are expected to float within their hired zone per the facility's Float Radius Policy and must secure housing that supports this requirement
