American Traveler is seeking a Certified OB Surgical Technologist with L&D experience and NBSTSA certification for a hospital-based OB surgical services position in Virginia.

Details

• 13-week contract in a hospital OB/surgical services unit
• Rotating schedule alternating approximately 6 weeks of day shifts and 6 weeks of night shifts, subject to change based on staffing needs
• Day shift: 7:00–19:00 | Night shift: 19:00–7:00 (3x12-hour shifts)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Floating may be required in accordance with candidate's clinical experience

Requirements

• NBSTSA certification required, with Virginia state registration in hand at time of consideration
• OB/L&D surgical technologist experience required
• Both scrub and circulate experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Serve as a certified OB surgical tech supporting labor and delivery surgical procedures
• Holiday coverage is required — time off cannot be approved for Memorial Day or the Fourth of July
• Up to 40 hours of RTO may be approved for the duration of a 13-week contract
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 12-month gap before returning as a traveler
