American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer with MFM experience and RDMS (OB/GYN) certification for a 13-week outpatient clinic assignment.

Details

• Outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) clinic setting
• Imaging studies include detailed anatomical survey, fetal echocardiogram, BPP, fetal growth, umbilical artery Dopplers, transvaginal ultrasound, 1st trimester ultrasound, and amniocentesis ultrasound guidance
• Caseload limited to 10 scans per day with a restricted number of complex scans
• Equipment includes GE E10 and Expert 22 ultrasound systems
• Charting in Epic; Viewpoint also used
• Reports to an in-office MFM provider
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; Wednesday 7:30 AM–12:30 PM; Friday half day
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MFM sonography experience required
• RDMS certification in OB/GYN required; fetal echo (FE) certification preferred
• Active BLS (AHA) required
• Active ARDMS certification required
• License required if applicable
• A driver's license copy is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates placed PRN through outside firms will be considered
• Candidates residing in AZ, NV, NE, IA, or MN must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates, as determined by driver's license address
• Candidates residing in CO, KS, or UT must live at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Black pants and CommonSpirit-approved color scrub tops are required
