Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel assignment completion for a night shift position at an acute care hospital in the Baltimore, MD area.

Details

• CT Scan department in a large acute care hospital setting (500+ bed facility experience required)
• Performs CT procedures using Siemens scanners
• Sunday through Tuesday night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour nights)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 full years of CT Technologist experience
• Prior completion of at least one travel assignment required
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or closely related field
• ARRT registration required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Active Maryland state license required (license required if applicable)
• Experience with large acute care facilities (500+ beds) required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT procedures and operate Siemens scanners and related imaging equipment
• Interact with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff throughout the shift
• Counsel patients on radiographic procedures prior to imaging
• Assist physicians with biopsies and drainage procedures
• Obtain patient consent for intravenous injections and position patients on equipment
• Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate for this facility
