American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with at least 1.5 years of experience to work evening shifts across a 5-day schedule including weekends, using GE MRI scanners and Epic EMR.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI unit serving inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient populations
• Performs a full spectrum of MRI studies; cardiac MRI is not performed at this facility
• Two MRI scanners on-site: GE 450W and GE Signa Excite
• Charting is done in Epic
• Typical caseload of approximately 15 cases per day
• Schedule is Tuesday & Thursday 1:30 PM–10:00 PM, Wednesday & Friday 2:30 PM–10:00 PM, and Saturday 7:30 AM–6:00 PM; manager is flexible on schedule
• Weekend shifts scheduled as needed
• On-call requirements include one 8.5-hour day per week and one 24-hour weekend every 5 weeks
• Block scheduling is available — discuss during the interview
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of MRI technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Active NJ or Compact license required — license required if applicable
• Experience with inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient populations
• Proficiency with GE MRI equipment preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Ability to perform a full spectrum of MRI studies
• Two current professional references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
