American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT) with an active MA license, ARRT registration, and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a day-shift hospital-based radiation oncology position.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 13-week contract
• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology/Radiation Therapy department
• Uses Epic for electronic medical records charting
• Time keeping via UKG/Kronos

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Radiation Therapy license required (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)
• ARRT registration required, or registry-eligible with registration obtained within one year of graduation from an accredited program
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science with a certificate in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program required
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience required
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, in accordance with accepted Radiation Therapy practice
• Reports to the Practice Manager and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and may be subject to an adjusted pay rate
• No validated parking available at Boston-area locations; public transportation or public parking lots are available (rates approximately $17–$22/day)
• RTO requests must be communicated at the time of consideration
