Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of OR experience for a 4x10 day shift hospital position requiring BLS and CST or TS-C certification.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (7:00–17:30)
• On-call requirement with a 30-minute call response time
• Experience in Ambulatory OR, General OR, Pedi General OR, and ENT required
• Charting performed in Epic
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience required
• CST credential via NBSTSA or TS-C credential via NCCT required
• BLS certification required
• Active (non-pending) state license required, if applicable
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required for consideration
• Utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address dated within the last 3 months required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per assignment; holiday and blackout dates cannot be requested
• Blocked scheduling requests are not permitted
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
