American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years of experience performing routine and complex echocardiographic procedures in an outpatient echocardiography lab setting.

Details

• Outpatient echocardiography laboratory setting
• Performs a full range of cardiac diagnostic and echocardiographic imaging procedures
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule with on-call rotation
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Weekend shifts on a rotation basis
• Holiday coverage is negotiable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Echo Tech experience
• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
• RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Oversees technical procedures, patient care, and workflows within the echocardiography laboratory
• Critiques positioning, technical factors, and image alignment to maintain acceptable quality standards
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness, and documents thoroughly
• Cross-trains to other divisions of Cardiovascular Services
• Assists performing physicians and sonographers in delivering high-quality echocardiographic exams
• Candidates who have been on assignment at this facility for 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any location within this health system
• RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
