American Traveler is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with 2+ years of experience performing sleep studies, including CPAP/BiPAP titrations and pediatric cases, for a night shift position in The Woodlands, TX.

Details

• Sleep disorders lab setting located in The Woodlands, TX
• All patient populations served, including pediatrics
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• On-site work location with no on-call or call-back requirements
• Uses Natus Sleepworks EMR

Requirements

• RPSGT certification required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist performing sleep studies
• Proficiency with CPAP/BiPAP titrations required
• Experience with pediatric patient populations required
• Experience with Natus Sleepworks required
• High school diploma required
• Must be able to occasionally or frequently lift up to 75–100 lbs and carry up to 30 lbs
• Full Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Prepare and conduct overnight sleep study testing procedures, including reviewing patient records, examining orders and protocols, and interviewing patients regarding medications, sleep patterns, and treatment needs
• Perform complex polysomnographic procedures and evaluations across all patient age groups
• Serve as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance protocols
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable
