American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer with 2+ years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience and RVT or RVS certification for an inpatient/outpatient cardiology vascular laboratory setting.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient vascular clinic serving all age groups
• Cardiology - Vascular Laboratory unit
• Common diagnoses include PVD, CAD, HF, CVA, venous insufficiency, renal/celiac/SMA stenosis, renal transplant, and TOS
• Average caseload of 8–12 RVT/RVS studies per day
• Procedures include carotid studies, upper/lower arterial and venous duplex, DVT/reflux, vein mapping, renal and mesenteric duplex, AAA, endograft, aortic studies, upper/lower PVR/segmental pressures, hemodialysis grafts, iliac veins, and arterial bypass grafts (fem-fem, fem-pop, loop grafts)
• Equipment includes Philips Epic Elite ultrasound systems and Parks PVR/Segmental Pressures machines; VascuPro used for reporting
• Epic EMR experience required
• 8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required; day off on Thursday when working a weekend
• No call required
• May float to a High Point outpatient-only vascular lab as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or CCI RVS (Registered Vascular Sonographer) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency in carotid, upper/lower arterial and venous duplex, DVT/reflux, vein mapping, renal, mesenteric, AAA, endograft, aortic, PVR/segmental pressures, hemodialysis grafts, iliac veins, and arterial bypass graft studies
• Epic EMR experience required
• NC state licensure not required; license required if applicable
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• RTO requests made prior to contract acceptance; otherwise, 4 weeks' notice is required and subject to manager discretion
