American Traveler is hiring an Endoscopy Technician with 2+ years of acute care experience and SGNA certification for an 11-week hospital assignment requiring candidates to live at least 50 miles from the facility.

Details

• 8-hour day shifts, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required Monday–Friday from 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM, with 24-hour call coverage on weekends; call is shared and rotated
• 40 hours per week
• Acute care hospital setting, Endoscopy/GI unit

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy Tech experience in an acute care setting
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• SGNA certification required
• Active license required (no pending licensure); license required if applicable
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Support physicians and RNs during endoscopic procedures as directed
• Verify proper equipment functioning and perform safety checks prior to procedures
• Maintain and/or repair endoscopic equipment as needed
• Collect and deliver specimens obtained during procedures while maintaining a sterile field
• CPI may be required for this position — confirm details during the hiring process
