American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray in New Jersey, requiring ARRT certification, an active NJ RT license, and 1-3 years of experience.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology department setting
• 8-hour AM shifts, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Every other weekend shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• On-call is required
• 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
• 13-week travel assignment
• EMR: Epic (charting)

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school
• Active NJ State RT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain equipment, assess patient safety and comfort, and monitor the need for procedure revisions
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment at this facility
