American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska, requiring at least 2 years of experience and active REEGT certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting (407 beds) with a Magnet designation, Level II Trauma status, and recognition as a USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
• Work split between an ambulatory EEG clinic (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and 24-hour hospital call coverage shared among the team
• Day shifts scheduled as 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• On-call requirement of approximately 1 weekend per month
• Charting in Epic (required)
• Scrubs provided
• Free on-site parking
• No floating within or outside the unit

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of EEG technologist experience
• Active REEGT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position; any requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting are required for consideration
