American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with 2+ years of experience, ARRT and SCQRSA certifications, and proficiency with TrueBeam and Trilogy equipment for an outpatient oncology assignment in Orangeburg, SC.

Details

• Outpatient radiation therapy setting
• Day shift, Mon–Fri, 7:30am–3:30pm (5x8s)
• Daily on-beam treatment caseload of approximately 30 patients per tech
• Charting in Epic and ARIA
• No on-call, weekend, or floating requirements

Requirements

• Active South Carolina Radiation Therapist license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered, but must be fully licensed before starting
• ARRT and SCQRSA certifications required
• AHA certifications required (BLS or other applicable AHA certs)
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
• Hands-on experience with TrueBeam and Trilogy equipment required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidate must provide their own personal radiation dosimetry badge — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not preferred for this position
• Candidates currently living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Former permanent or PRN staff of this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• RTO of 7 days or fewer (non-holiday) is preferred; requests exceeding 7 days or including holidays are subject to facility approval
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak hurricane activity occurs in August and September
• No cost for on-site parking
• No specific scrub color required
