American Traveler is hiring a GI/Endoscopy Tech with a minimum of 2 years of recent endoscopy experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care regional medical center in Kentucky.

Details

• GI/Endoscopy unit at an acute care regional medical center
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
• Schedule alternates between 3x12 and 4x12 shifts (84 hours per two-week pay period)
• On-call required 1–2 times per week, every 3–4 days, plus weekend call rotation
• Candidate must have housing within 30 minutes of the facility to meet call response requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent GI/Endoscopy experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Active compact or state license in hand required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Must be willing and able to work the 84-hour biweekly alternating schedule (3x12 / 4x12)
• Candidate must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references required: 1 Charge Nurse or higher and 1 Supervisor, both completed within the last year
• Valid, unexpired driver's license required; address must match permanent address
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Copy of certifications required for consideration
• Middle name (or confirmation of no middle name) required for consideration
• Any license hits or background check issues must be disclosed upfront

Additional Information

• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
• Up to 7 days of RTO will be considered, but must be declared upfront — no changes will be accepted after submission
• Travelers who have worked within the system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
• Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit
• Patient ratios may fluctuate based on census and staffing
• Orientation is scheduled on a biweekly basis
