American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel contract at a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital, with 1 year of experience required and Epic proficiency preferred.

• Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 total staff beds
• X-Ray department serving adult acute care, pediatric acute care, ED, ICU, NICU, OR, bedside/portable, and outpatient settings
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• On-call required, approximately 3 shifts per month
• No weekends required
• Block scheduling required
• Charting in Epic (required)
• No floating within or between units per this assignment; however, travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities within the state

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience, preferably in a large acute care hospital setting comparable to a facility like this
• ARRT (R) and BLS required; Fluoroscopy Permit preferred
• Active state license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in a wide range of radiographic procedures including chest, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremity, abdomen/GI, head, and fluoroscopy studies
• Experience with portable/bedside procedures and C-arm
• Experience in adult acute care, ED, ICU, and OR settings required; pediatric and outpatient experience preferred
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Teaching hospital and large community hospital experience preferred
• Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; local candidates may be considered at a different rate
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (location and dates) at the time of consideration
• Refusal to float to sister facilities within the state may result in contract termination
• Holiday coverage is required — travelers must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• RTO is limited to 6 total days or 3 consecutive days; requests beyond 6 days require client approval and may delay an offer
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Scrubs: any color accepted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided
• No parking fees at this facility
