American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week outpatient breast care imaging assignment in Cumming, Georgia.

Details

• Outpatient breast care imaging center setting
• Services include mammography (2D and 3D/tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound, bone density, and breast biopsy procedures
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week)
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography
• Current AHA BLS and ARRT certification required
• Documentation of at least 200 completed mammography exams within the last 24 months (must be signed by leadership)
• 15 breast-specific CEUs completed within the last 3 years
• 8 hours of documented digital mammography training
• 8 hours of documented 3D/tomosynthesis training
• Documented 40 hours of mammography training and initial 25 supervised exams
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being considered
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer acceptance — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
• AHA certifications must be current and non-expired at time of consideration
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but extensive documentation requirements should be noted
