American Traveler is hiring a GI/Endoscopy Tech with at least 1 year of Endo/GI Lab experience and MA-C, Surgical Tech, or Nursing Assistant certification for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II trauma, tertiary medical center in Seattle, WA.

Details

• Work in a large GI/Endoscopy department at a Level II trauma, tertiary medical center featuring 19 admit/discharge rooms and 4 procedure rooms
• Patient mix is approximately 30% inpatient and 70% outpatient, with roughly 10% pediatric patients
• Cares for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics with complex GI conditions
• 4x10-hour day shifts with flexible start times between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating between all facilities within the state is required
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Endo/GI Lab
• MA-C, Surgical Tech certification, or Nursing Assistant certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Advanced therapeutic endoscopy training preferred
• Experience with USAP MAC Sedation preferred
• Active professional license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assist physicians intra-procedurally with both general and advanced therapeutic endoscopy procedures
• Responsibilities include high-level disinfection (HLD) scope reprocessing and procedure room turnover
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff from non-Swedish Providence facilities must have been separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility if returning as a former employee
• RTO is minimal for this position; limited RTO requests may be considered but requests exceeding 4 days require manager approval and no holiday RTO is available
• All RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
