Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment, requiring 2+ years of experience and proficiency with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the Main MRI unit
• Shift schedule includes Sundays 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, Mondays 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Fridays 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and Saturdays 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, with holiday coverage required
• Shift lengths of 8 or 12 hours depending on the day
• On-call rotation runs Monday through Monday; weekday call hours are 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and weekend call covers 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the following day
• On weekends, on-call tech is required to cover the scheduled 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shift if there is a call-in
• Call rotation is currently once per month, subject to change based on staffing
• Callback is rare, averaging 2–4 times per month total
• Charting performed in Epic
• Familiarity with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems required; a 1.5T Siemens system will also be in use
• Daily parking is available at $15+/day; monthly parking passes range from $95–$120 across on- and off-campus options

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• Experience with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
• Orientation is 12 hours
