American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with WV licensure and ARRT certification for an adult outpatient cancer center, delivering external beam and IMRT treatments with a daily caseload of 20–35 patients.

Details

• Adult outpatient oncology setting at a dedicated cancer center
• 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:45am–5:15pm
• Daily caseload of 20–35 patients per therapist
• Required skills include CBCT/kV/mV imaging, external beam therapy, IMRT, prophylactic treatments, and radiation safety
• Preferred skills include CT simulation, tumor localization, dose calculation, TomoTherapy, chart checks, patient/family teaching, and isolation precautions
• Clinician may float between treatments and simulations as needed
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating to sister facilities
• Documentation systems: Mosaiq and iKnowMed; EMR: McKesson

Requirements

• Active WV Radiation Therapist Board License required (pending licenses not accepted); license required if applicable
• Current BLS, ARRT, and RT(R)(T) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• Driver's License and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two manager or charge nurse references (preferably within the past 2 years) required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemption with documented allergy by an allergist or physician of record may be considered
• Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing 75–99 miles away may be submitted for facility approval

• Open to first-time travelers with the appropriate experience and credentials
• Former permanent employees of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers until 3 years after their last date of permanent employment
