American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with ARRT(T) certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience for a hospital Radiation Therapy department in Concord, NC.

Details

• Work in a hospital Radiation Therapy department
• Treats all oncology diagnoses using IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D treatment modalities
• Average patient volume of 30–45 patients per day
• Equipped with 2 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators
• Uses Epic and Aria for electronic medical records; Epic experience required
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active ARRT(T) certification required; NC license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Therapeutic Radiology
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Radiation Therapy, with most recent experience within the last year
• Ambulatory and oncology radiation therapy experience required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference dated within the past year required, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Perform radiation therapy treatments using advanced modalities including IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D
• Chief RT is on-site for departmental support
• RT students rotate through the department
• Departmental orientation provided
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• Black scrubs required

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former employees of any AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year following a permanent position before being considered
