American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with an active Louisiana State License and ARRT (T) certification for a hospital-based radiation therapy unit requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Therapy unit
• Average daily census of 80 patients with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Always 2 therapists assigned per machine
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 4x10-hour days (hours may flex based on patient volumes)

Requirements

• Active Louisiana State Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
• Current ARRT (T) certification required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA)
• ARRT (R) certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience required

Additional Information

• Open to first-time travelers with appropriate experience
• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• In the event of a declared emergency, staff may be required to remain at the facility or serve on a relief team as assigned by the unit manager
