Description

American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist for a night shift travel contract at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 108 total staffed beds
• Polysomnography / Sleep Lab unit
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Friday night shifts extend into Saturday morning; weekend availability required
• Block scheduling required
• No on-call required
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Epic EMR; experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Polysomnography / Sleep Tech experience
• RPSGT or equivalent credential required; license required if applicable
• Active Epic EMR proficiency required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• All required certifications must be current and active

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable; scrubs are not provided for this unit
• No parking fee on-site
• RTO should be minimal; all time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
