Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an oncology cancer center.

Details

• Work in a dedicated cancer center Radiation Therapy unit
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts
• Shift hours begin at 7:30 AM; end time may extend as late as 7:00–8:00 PM depending on patient volumes
• Schedule details to be discussed with the manager during the interview process
• No on-call required

Requirements

• Active and applicable state Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience required
• Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator is a hard requirement
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required and must be clearly documented on your profile
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• The facility observes several holidays including Memorial Day, July 4th (observed July 3rd), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
• Staff are expected to work the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving and an abbreviated day on Christmas Eve
