American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with 5+ years of multi-specialty OR experience and preceptor ability for a 13-week travel contract in Pittsfield, MA.

Details

• Hospital OR setting with an 8-bed unit
• Proficiency required in General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedic (including total joints), Neuro/Head & Spine, and Trauma surgical specialties
• Preferred experience in C-sections, ENT, Plastics, and DaVinci Robot procedures
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Holiday call is required; no weekday call except on holidays
• Participation in a holiday rotation is required
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience is highly preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of current CST experience required — non-negotiable
• NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted)
• AHA BLS certification required
• Experience in General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho (including total joints), Neuro/Head & Spine, and Trauma required
• Must be able to precept — proficiency in precepting must be demonstrated
• CST Skills Checklist current within the past year required
• 2 supervisory signed references from within the past 2 years of employment required — non-negotiable
• Personal vehicle required
• License required if applicable
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position

• Preceptor responsibilities are expected as part of this role
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; requests made after an offer is extended may result in a rescinded offer — no more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
